Learn about the journey taken by Tainos, African slaves, slave traders, Pirates, British Army and the Spanish Army over 100 years ago. Witness the remains of the brutal slave trade and stand in the location where the fiercest battle was fought. This tour will take you back as far as the 1600s to the present Jamaica. Guests will be exposed to the way of life of the first settlers and see how native Jamaicans presently live. Along the picturesque north coast of Jamaica you will travel to "Fire Fly Look Out," a spot used by the famous Captain Morgan to identify the ships he would later rob in Port Royal. At the Rio Nuevo Battle Site and Museum you will then experience the brutal instruments of slavery, a well as the ruins of a Taino settlement where the fiercest battle between the Spanish and the British in a bid to capture Jamaica occurred. As the journey continues, travel up the rain forest along the parish border to Lodge, a district once known as "Lodge Yard" a slave plantation. Finally, stop in Mile End, a district where all the slaves from Lodge Yard lived, as the tour ends.
