Very well organized with a great team. Venice is a dreamlike city and of course the time there is far too short. But we were glad to get there from Croatia. Now in October the city was full but not overcrowded. We will be back definitely! Thanks to the Kosmos team, you are doing great.

We had a very nice day in Venice. A very good way to make a short trip to Venice from Croatia. Value for money was reasonable. However, it should be clear that the time spent in Venice is only sufficient for a rough overview. Formalities and passport controls take a very, very long time... w queue up 4 times for the check. This delays the departure times, on the outward journey it only started 45 minutes after the planned time. That is of course missing in Venice!!! During the trip, the tour guides loudly advertise the additional offers that you have to buy for a total of around €90-100 (transport to St. Mark's Square, gondola ride, lunch). Dramatic warnings are given about exploring Venice alone, and lots of untruths along the way told....No Google Maps in the alleys, 1 coffee 25,-.....All in all raised like a butter/coffee ride. With a little advance planning, it is no problem to be on the road alone.

Getting to Venice by boat was very nice and convenient. The free time in Venice was sufficient. Unfortunately the boat was fully booked so many couples/families couldn't sit together. Bookable activities were presented on board (only cash payment possible!), eg shuttle to St. Mark's Square for 17 euros/per person (is not necessary), gondola ride (is cheaper on site for 3 or more people), lunch, taxi boat back. The presentation gave the impression that you really need it all ("It takes 1 hour to walk to St. Mark's Square and you will definitely get lost"), so quite a sales pitch. Overall, the excursion was good because Venice is simply a city worth seeing.
