On this tour, feel and experience the volcanic origins of the magical Island in Furnas. Start by visiting the Chá Gorreana in order to visit the interesting factory and learn more about one of the most unique tea plantations in Europe. The Cozido meal prepared earlier will be your lunch, served at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit the centenary Terra Nostra botanical garden, famous for its extraordinary collection of native plants on the Azores, as well as exotic plants from all over the world. At the end of the visit, you are invited to bathe in an iron-rich hot water swimming pool with a temperature between 35 and 40ºC, an exquisite experience! On the journey back to Ponta Delgada, stop at several beautiful viewing points on the North Coast and at the only tea plantation on the North Coast.
