  • Pompeii: Fast Track Entrance Ticket with Audio Guide

    1. Pompeii: Fast Track Entrance Ticket with Audio Guide

Skip the long lines and discover the remains of the Roman city. See ancient ruins, destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, leaving the city buried under mountains of volcanic ash. Take advantage of an audio guide service to see houses and everyday items that are still almost intact. Experience this everyday Roman town, almost like it was under the Roman Empire.

Don't bother buying any kind of ticket for pompeii other than the official italian ONLINE ticket. there is no 'fast track' 'skip the queue' tickets. the only people who can skip the queue are the ones with the actual online Tickets. Not the getyourguide or any other kind of voucher tickets. also stay away from the Ticket office at the trainstation. even tho there are signs that it deals with getyourguide tickets, it is not the official Pompeii ticket office and they just waste your time there.

Benefit from skip-the-line entry and enjoy a self-guided visit around the ancient city. Throughout the ruins, you’ll come across death casts: plaster recreations of unfortunate citizens preserved by the superheated volcanic ash. After visiting Pompeii, the coach will take you up the slope of Mt. Vesuvius (from April to mid-November), one of Europe’s few active volcanoes located in the Vesuvius National Park. From here, take a short hike up to the steaming crater for stunning views of Capri and Sorrento. During the winter season between November and March, Mt. Vesuvius is closed, so your tour will follow the coastline and take you to the city of Naples, where you can explore the iconic Castle Nuovo, the famous art deco Umberto I Gallery, or simply wander around th...

Well organized tour and well priced. My only recommendation is to allow more time for Mt. Vesuvius. Having only one hour to climb and descend was not enough time for us to fully aprreciate it.

It was a good experience, we really liked it. The only complain I have is that they don’t let you go to a nearby hotel for the pick up, and the directions of the other location are far from downtown.

This was a good tour with a friendly tour guide. There were lots of ruins and plenty of time to look around and take pictures. We did not get as much back story on the history of Pompeii as I would have expected, but had lots of information about each room and ruin we walked through. We were an add-on for the Pompeii portion of a larger group that had come down from Rome, so we only participated in the Pompeii aspect of the tour.

What people are saying about Pompeii

Roberto and Antonio were both amazing. I did four different tours during my trip to Rome and Roberto was far and away the best guide I experienced. He was super knowledgeable and entertaining. Antonio was a great driver and truly expert in his craft. The way he maneuvered the bus up and down the mountain through traffic was a sight to behold.

Really interesting walking around the ancient city ruins, must be a lovely place before the unfortunate volcanic eruption of Mt. Versuvius Eventhough it was an arduous & difficult climb, it was worthwhile as the view of the Crater of Mt. Versuvius was awesome…& looking down we could see Naples…

Robert, our guide, was super knowledgeable! He was also very funny. Although there was a hiccup with our Pompeii tickets (main office’s fault) that was cleared up and Robert communicated with us really well about how the rest of our day would flow.

Great tour! Comfortable bus ride and wonderful tour guide in Pompeii. Pizza lunch was very good on the way to Vesuvius. 1km walk up the mountain is easy to do with spectacular views of Naples and the Bay. Totally worthwhile!

Very nice, exquisite staff. Definitely to be recommended.
