Our guide Lello was fantastic about including the group and sharing meaningful messages about Pompeii. Our group was maybe 15 people total. If you look at a map, we covered very little of Pompeii, but what we did see was made much more interesting because of the tour. You will need days to see all of Pompeii if you wish. For us, the tour was just enough and perfect.

Lello was our guide and was FANTASTIC! I purposefully chose an archeologist to.be our guide and he was excellent! He made the ruins come alive and made it so fascinating! I really admired the way he treated the room with the slave girl with reverence. He also explained how difficult and expensive it is to excavate and restore these ruins. You got a sense of how these people lived and the technological expertise from thousands of years ago! Lello also had a great personality and added humor to the tour! Fabulous tour due to Lello!
