Full description
Attracting some 2 million tourists every year, Pompeii is without question one of the most important archaeological sites in Italy, if not the world. Enjoy this private 2-hour tour, and discover the remains of the Roman city like a VIP. See ancient ruins, destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius, leaving the city buried under mountains of volcanic ash. Houses and even individual utensils remained intact when the city was eventually unearthed. As you walk, experience an everyday Roman town almost like it was under the empire. See the majestic Roman Amphitheatre, small theater, and public gymnasium. Explore the places where Romans had fun and held banquets. See frescoes frozen in time, and even poignant casts of citizens and their pets, all killed on one fatal day in 79 A.D.

We have taken a private guided tour, which is a real advantage compared to “small guided tours”. Corrado was an Excellent guide. He made the effort to walk us in the shadows whenever possible, he talked slowly and distinctively. It is the third time I am visiting Pompei, and it was the most instructive and memorable time. I highly recommend taking PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR

This was absolutely one of the highlights to our family holiday. Our guide was prompt, very knowledgeable and pleasant. The one thing that would have been helpful was to know that the price paid through the website did not include admission as we had to wait about 20 minutes at the beginning of our time for entry. This cut down our actual tour guide time.

Antonio gave a great tour

We spent a few hours with Antonio and learned so much about Pompei from him. It is far more interesting and educational to have a live teacher whom you can engage with and can point out places and things that you would easily overlook. It was just our family on the tour so we could always hear, which isn't always possible in large group tours. Overall, a really great experience.
