Visiting Pompeii and Vesuvius was an amazing and unforgettable experience without any doubt. Anyone who will go to Naples should visit those two places. Our tour guide Francesca, from the other hand, even though gave us all the infos that we needed to learn about Pompeii , was rude and not too easy to communicate especially in the beginning. It was our first time there we knew nothing about where to go or what to do and yet I wanted to ask a question and all I got back was to ignore me. So after that i didn't have much joy in listing to her. Another than that eveything was more than amazing!
Experience how the ancient Romans lived at the site of the Pompeii ruins on this 6-hour combination tour. See the Forum, the Stabian Baths, a brothel, the House of the Faun, the House of the Tragic Poet and more. After visiting Pompeii, take a half-hour break before beginning the second part of the tour. Head off on a drive to the top of Mount Vesuvius through the natural beauty of pine forests and lush woods and bright yellow flowers. Enjoy stunning views of the Bay of Naples. Enjoy a walk with a volcanolgist guide who will tell you about the geological history of the volcano and its eruptions.
The tour was amazing and our guide, Ale and driver Rosario were a wonderful dynamic duo, loved Pompeii and the view on Mt Vesuvius was breath taking
Following your tour pickup, you will make your way south to explore the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Stroll through the streets of the Roman city of Pompeii and check the numerous different UNESCO archaeological sites, such as the Herculaneum. Both archaeological sites feature the excavated ruins of alleyways and homes where you are free to explore. These locations are also fascinating in that archaeologists are still continuing to unearth the remains of a place forever locked in time. Following your exploration of the ruins, drive up to Mount Vesuvius, the volcano that destroyed Pompeii 2,000 years ago. You can stop to enjoy the view of the Bay of Naples from the top, as you enjoy a delicious lunch. If you are a hiking and history lover, this Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Mount Vesuvius tour is all you need.
Jasmine, our guide and the driver Domenico were so friendly and skilled. I highly recommend this tour with these two to guide you through the day. The explaining in the explored areas were fantastic, english was very good and the mini-van spotless clean and comfortable. I was way beyond my expactations!!

Wonderful tour for the family. My wife and I along with our four children were picked up in a shuttle at our hotel and all transport throughout the day was super easy. The guides were some of the kindest people we’ve ever met and pointed out some great info along the way that was really interesting. Definitely don’t forget to bring plenty of water! The tour is great, but the day is long and water is essential. The lunch between the tours was great and more than we could eat. The sites were everything we wanted to see, but what really made the day enjoyable was the genuine kindness and generosity of our guides.
Enjoy a day on Italy’s scenic Amalfi Coast and explore the archeological ruins of the ancient Roman town of Pompeii on a full-day excursion from Naples. You’ll be picked up at your central Naples hotel or outside your cruise ship at the Port of Naples. Your first stop will be Pompeii, at one time a thriving Roman town and now an archaeological site. Buried under ash after the towering Mount Vesuvius eruption in 79 AD, the city was lost until the 1700s. Today, you can walk along the old Roman streets and see the houses, shops, bars, and even a brothel among the excavated ruins. As you drive along the Amalfi Coast, marvel at the spectacular scenery. Your driver will stop at a fantastic location overlooking Positano and its bay for the stunning views. From here you’ll continue on to Amalfi, where you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the clear blue waters.
Great, got much more than I expected. Lunch was great with a beautiful view just a little late in the day so be sure to have a good breakfast
Enjoy a full-day tour of Naples and Pompeii follwing the "Highway of the Sun," through the fertile Roman countryside of the "Castelli Romani." Approximately halfway along the highway, you will see the Abbey of Montecassino, which was destroyed in a famous battle during the Second World War. Descend towards the port of Mergellina, and follow the coastal road to the ancient fishing quarter of Santa Lucia. Enjoy the views of Naples' impressive Castel dell’Ovo. Continue to Naples' historic city center, where your city tour will include all the major highlights, such as the Piazza del Plebiscito, Royal Palace, Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, San Carlo Opera House, Gallery of Umberto I, and the imposing Maschio Angioino. Depart Naples and cross the valley of Mount Vesuvius, passing the towns of Ercolano, Torre del Greco, and Torre Annunziata before arriving at Pompeii, where you will bre...
The trip to Naples and Pompeii was excellent. The lunch in Naples, as part of the tour, was very good. Both guides that were assigned to our tour were knowledgeable and fun. I really recommend this tour company.
The tour begins when you reach Pompei by train from Sorrento. A private transfer will take you to "Sorrentino Winery" from Pompeii Scavi Station. First you will meet the family owners of the winery with a welcome drink. Then take a stroll through the vines, some of which are hundreds of years old and learn about their process of organic farming without the use of pesticides. Be captivated by the history of the vineyard and by the wonderful views across the bay. Enjoy a 4-course lunch prepared with local and homemade products. Each dish will be accompanied by the various wines they produce on the slopes of the Mount Vesuvius. Children can enjoy soft drinks and juices. Following the tour and lunch, transfer back to Pompeii Scavi Station.
After being picked up from Rome, drive for approximately 3 hours to the Pompeii archaeological site. A 15-minute stop for a quick break on the road will be granted. Head to Pompeii where a professional guide will take you on a 2-hour group tour exploring one of the world's most engrossing archaeological experiences: a historical city covered by volcanic dust from Mt. Vesuvius in AD 79. Your guide will show you fascinating places such as The Forum, Thermal Baths, and Lupanare. After the visit, you will be taken to a restaurant to enjoy a pizza lunch accompanied by a drink and time to relax before heading back to Rome. Return to Rome by around 5:30 PM depending on traffic conditions. Please note: the archaeologic site in Pompeii is closed on the December 25 and on the 1st of January every year
A great tour guide and interesting stories of life and the tragic volcanic deaths in Pompeii. It is a long drive to and from - 2 to 2.5 hrs each way - so be ready for that. You meet the tour guide at the site. So it is a quiet ride with just the driver who does not speak at all to and from the site.

Excellent organization! Our guide was able to answer all the questions. Easy communication and I felt as if we were friends for a long time. The tour itself was very useful, without it there is no sense at all to go to Pompeii or Mount Vesuvius.
Great tour! Comfortable bus ride and wonderful tour guide in Pompeii. Pizza lunch was very good on the way to Vesuvius. 1km walk up the mountain is easy to do with spectacular views of Naples and the Bay. Totally worthwhile!
Loved this tour! The guide in Pompeii was very knowledgeable. The hike up Mt. Vesuvius was a great way to end the excursión. Our guide from World Tours, Alessandra, and driver, Rosario, were very good.
Enjoyable day out. Was only so much of Pompeii you could cover, but it was informative. View from Vesuvius was spectacular.
Very nice, exquisite staff. Definitely to be recommended.
