Well worth the money! Once you factor in transportation, tickets, guided tour, and lunch- this package is a steal! Ricardo, the driver, was very friendly/funny. Once we got there, the guide, Miguel, was waiting for us. He, too, was incredible! Very informative and full of cool historical facts! Highly recommend this excursion.

We had a great time on this tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Our driver Gianni was excellent. His knowledge of Naples and the surrounds made a huge difference to our tour, we would highly recommend him. Herculaneum was the highlight of the tour. We had a little extra time as we didn’t stay long at lunch (more on that in a moment) so the extra time in Herculaneum was appreciated. At first I was disappointed it wasn’t an in person tour but after listening for a while I agree the audio guides were very high quality. Pompeii was so large I think a few hours didn’t do it justice. Head to the Villa de misteri if you have time. I felt this was the best example of Pompeii life. Lunch was disappointing but we addressed this with Gianni and I hope the company take our feedback on board. Herculaneum was brilliant because so much is still in tact. The reconstructions are beautifully done and the audio guide offers 360 degree illustrations of the town. Thanks Gianni, you went above and beyond.

Fabulous day spent touring Pompeii & Herculaneum. The team at ‘get your guide’ ensured we had a great experience. Our family of 5 ranged from 13 yr old to 78 yr old and we were very well accommodated. All the team we met we’re extremely polite and really wanted to ensure we had a great day. It really is a must to book a guide to see Pompeii- we had an amazing guide!!
