Experience life as it was in Plymouth in 1627 in the Wampanoag Homesite and English Village. Watch as the Wampanoag use fire to hollow out a tree into a mishoon while the Pilgrims cook Indian corn and sausages for the winter ahead. The connections we make in their stories and testimonials remain relevant to this day. This is an outstanding living history activity which should not be missed. Due to school groups in the morning, the afternoon is less busy.
This is a very informative experience, as we get to see what life was like in Plymouth in the early 17th Century, both for the English and the native Americans. The costumed interpreters made the experience even more interesting and fun.
Every half hour or so, there was a new "presentation" in the English village...and every presenter/actor was spot on and realistic. They were all so great with all children and the whole experience was lovely.
Don't just wait to take your kids. It's a fantastic opportunity to feel history; not just read about it. LK
We had a blast!! The accents were accurate and so was the story line!! Can’t wait to go back sometime :)
