The tour is highly recommended, they are beautiful cities, and Rafa, our guide, was very attentive and loving with the whole group. The only medium-negative thing was that when they give you the drink and the cover, the people from the restaurant pressure you to ask for lunch, which is on your own and this is made clear from the beginning, but it was the attitude of the girls who they took care of us, otherwise! A good plan for someone who wants to take advantage of seeing two magical cities in one day.

Taking a tour to Avila and Segovia is a wise choice. It is difficult to arrange public transportation and the drive time is 4 hours of the trip. I would recommend taking the tour But staying over night in Segovia. It’s charming at night and it is very easy to take the 30 minute train back into Madrid to the Chamartín station. The tour guides were so informative and personable, as well.

The tour was in english and spanish. Herman our guide managed the time well, he was friendly and explained the history of significant landmarks. Our coach driver was also very good, drove carefully and at a pace which got us through the sites and back to Madrid in good time. Highly recommended!
