  • From Cancún: Coba, Cenote, Tulum and Playa del Carmen Tour

In this tour you’ll visit four incredible places. Begin with Tulum, the old Mayan city built on the seashore where you can appreciate its vestiges like El Castillo, El Templo de Los Frescos and its beautiful white sand beach. Then discover Cobá, a hidden Mayan town with the tallest pyramid in the Yucatán Peninsula, that you can climb to admire the jungle that surrounds you. Afterwards head to Cenote La Gloria, an impressive natural basement filled with crystalline water where you can swim. Visit Playa del Carmen, the vibrant city of the Caribbean perfect for shopping. From your hotel or meeting point, you will be taken to the departure center from where your adventure begins to Tulum, Cobá, Cenote and Playa del Carmen. This tour includes safe transportation, a certified guide, and a buffet lunch.

The tour guides really make or break the tour! And in this trip they MADE IT! The guides, especially Raymundo was exceptional: he explained everything in the scorching heat giving us a complete understanding of the history, culture and life of the places we were visiting. The other guides with him helped keep track of the people and offered water for free to make sure we were all well hydrated: it showed great care! We spent the morning in Tulum, we then went to Coba and experienced the park on an enjoyable bike ride! The site is very large and you can cover more ground on bike than by foot (if you dont like to bike (rental 60 pesos), they have little wagons where someone will bike you around for a little more money) but it beats walking in the heat. This fee is on you-bring pesos. After Coba, they took us to a cenote but it didnt have that cavern feel, and we hit traffic on the way to Playa Del Carmen at the end of the day, so we only had an hour to powerwalk the touristy district.

  • From Cancun and Riviera Maya: Tulum, Coba, and Cenote Tour

    4. From Cancun and Riviera Maya: Tulum, Coba, and Cenote Tour

Depart Cancun and travel in air-conditioned comfort to the ancient city of Tulum, famous for its breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. Explore the remains of the Mayan settlement and take a walk down to the beach. Continue to the pre-Hispanic city of Coba to look at the majestic Nohoch-Mul Temple, one of the tallest structures on the Yucatan Peninsula. Climb to the top of the 138-foot structure to get panoramic views of the surroundings. Learn the amazing history of one of the largest cities built by the Maya civilization. Then, cool down in a sacred cenote before some free time to stroll along 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen on the way back to Cancun.

It was a really good value. There was so much packed into the day and it ended up being more like 14 hours instead of 11 hours from pick-up to drop-off. We enjoyed each place, but would've liked more time in Coba as it felt a little rushed and it was really nice to cool down a little in the jungle. The food was way better than I expected and it was a highlight for my 10 year old to see a Mayan village. Only improvement needed was the van. There were pieces falling apart inside and we couldnt even see our a window from the back where we were sitting. That said, I would definitely recommend.

Then, take a tour of the island to capture stunning photos of all the landmarks you will see along the way. End with a visit to Isla Pasion (Passion Island) to enjoy its shallow waters and marvel at its white sand beach where the rays of the sun turn the water a stunning turquoise blue.

The trip was very well organized from start to finish with all little details taken care off. Holbox is a magical place that everybody should visit at least once. This tour is highly recommended if you want to experience a Mexican paradise!

  • From Cancun or Riviera Maya: Selvatica Jungle Zip Line Tour

    10. From Cancun or Riviera Maya: Selvatica Jungle Zip Line Tour

Begin your tour with pickup in Cancún, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, or Tulum. Hop in the shuttle bus and head to the Selvatica jungle zip line park. Alternatively, choose an option without pickup and make your own way to the park. Once there, take an adrenaline-pumping ride on 10 world-class zip lines. Unleash your primal Tarzan yell on the zip line coaster, Tarzania, the ultimate jungle ride. At the end of the circuit, you'll find the Aqua-zip. This zip line is optional, so you decide if you want to finish dry or get soaked. After your zip line experience, jump in a special safari truck and be transported to a private for cenote for a swim. A cenote is a naturally formed water hole and is the perfect way to freshen up and relax. The tour lasts for approximately 3.5 hours and concludes with drop-off at your starting location.

The local staff were friendly and accommodating - but you feel a bit rushed during the registration process, if you are running late, probably because they want to cram in as many into a single group! The facilities overall are well maintained and the safety features for the Zipline etc. are top notch ! We would not recommend eating there, you are better off taking a packed lunch.

Simon was a great guide, very passionate and entertaining. The tour contains a lot of destinations in one day, so you can see a lot of important cultural things. They really have a good time management, although the time in the cenota and in playa del carmen were too short. Maybe the visit of the maya villaga / shamane could be shortened.

Amazing trip! The tour guides, Ricardo and Raymond, were energetic and knowledgeable and they made a genuine effort to make certain that everybody had a good time. I enjoyed the entire experience.

Herland was the best tour guide you can imagine. He was so friendly, patient, and passionate about the tour and his culture. If you want to have a great day. Please ask for Herland!

We enjoyed the trip very much, everything was perfect. Diving with the turtles but also swimming in the cenote was a great experience. Would recommend this tour to anyone.

It was a mega tour! I can recommend it only. The only downside is that the pictures (all of the group cost $ 99) 1 picture costs $ 25.
