Very good care, unfortunately pure tourist agitation

We were picked up on time. Our guide Eli was perfect. Thanks for that. Unfortunately, the description of the excursion is somewhat misleading. I usually go by boat to snorkel in the sea. Here you swim about 1 km through brackish water to the reef and 2 dive sites are already done. Then we went to a small cenote by bus. After 20 minutes, more tour groups were already pushing. Lunch quickly and we went back to the hotel. After 5 hours the excursion paid for 7 hours was over.

A great way to see the varying ecologies of the Yucatan river system.

Because of an error on my part, I had accidentally scheduled two trips on one day. The people at Adventuras Mayas were awesome to work with. They allowed my wife and I to take a later tour on the day we thought we had booked. They really came through for us and we could not appreciate it more. Luis was our tour guide and he had a tremendous amount of information about the ecology of each of the three locations were you snorkel. He was very helpful and nice. We started off in the underground cenote where snorkeled for about 30 minutes. We then went to an open cenote to snorkel, zip line, and jump of a small cliff into the water. This was the most enjoyable part for us as we got to see a ton of fish and had a blast with the zip lining and cliff jumping. We then ate lunch which was as very tasty buffet of bbq chicken, salsas, rice, beans, etc. The food was delicious and the cooking staff was very warm and friendly. We then went snorkeling for about two hours in the tide pool and reef.
