Be immersed in an ancient world of stalactites and stalagmites. Roam the labyrinths of dramatic rock formations and tranquil waters. The Rio Secreto (Secret River) is a hidden underground network of rivers and caves. An air-conditioned mini-van collects you from your hotel from 7:20 and takes you to Rio Secreto. Here you will meet your expertly trained guide and receive a wetsuit, wet shoes, a lamp and a helmet to get you ready for your adventure. From here, enter the caves, where for 600 meters you will be free to walk, swim and enjoy the enchanting beauty of your surroundings with the supervision of your guide. Furthermore, with a maximum of 10 people per tour, you can be ensured a quiet tour experience free from outside distractions. The tours in Rio Secreto are organized so that no two tours happening at the same time will meet underground. After approximately 1.5 hours you will be taken back to ground level and treated to a light lunch of delicious local food. Choose the green salsa if your taste buds like it hot! After being collected from your accommodation in Cancun or Riviera Maya, you will make your way to Tulum. There you will receive a 45-minute guided tour, before having 1 hour and 15 minutes of free time to explore at the archaeological site. Afterwards, you will head to the Emotions Native Park where you will spend 3 hours and 30 minutes. You will begin with an ATV tour through the jungle, enjoying the natural beauty of the park as you cross a spectacular hanging bridge and ramp that will take your breath away. That will be followed by a trek through winding paths, which will result with you reaching an ancient Mayan vestige. It will then be time for a Mayan ceremony, during which you will delve into the natural jungle wonders and participate in an authentic Mayan blessing ceremony. The ceremony will be accompanied by copal incense and performed by a Mayan shaman from the community. After that, you'll dive into the Ixchel Cenote, which is home to a small Mayan altar. There you will learn about the formation of cenotes as well as some of the rock formations which are created by the drainage of water. Ziplines are next on your agenda, which will see you fly through the air over the jungle on three ziplines whilst enjoying the scenery. You will finally enjoy some traditional snacks, before being returned back to your hotel in either Cancun or Riviera Maya.

The excursion begins with a pick-up service between 07:00-08:05 AM from the lobby of your hotel in Cancun or Mayan Riviera. Upon arrival at Tulum, head directly to the world-famous archaeological site for a 1.5 hour visit and have the opportunity to explore it on your own! A certified guide will introduce you to the history and mysteries of the great Mayan civilization that once developed their culture and tribute to the world’s historical legacy.  Your guide will explain the significance of all the historical sites of Tulum - the Mayan word for wall - is indeed a walled fortress. The site has impressive cliffs overlooking the turquoise Caribbean Sea. Discover one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in the world and the only site in the Mayan Riviera located right by the coastline, that once was a port and a shelter to the coast Mayans in the post classical period.  After Tulum visit, the adventure continues in Tankah park, nestled in virgin jungle, encompassing four distinct Cenotes, those “Breathing Holes” of the world's largest underground river system that is found beneath the surface of the Yucatan Peninsula. The visit begins with an offering of fresh fruits of the season. On to the first “Cenote Cueva”, accessible through a natural jungle trail, you may enjoy a diving platform and venture to ride in a Zip Line from which you may jump into the refreshing waters. “Cenote Piraña”, which is semi covered, allows sunlight to bathe its waters. Admire and discover rock formations of stalactites. The third Cenote, one so large that you can navigate in a canoe and cross by zip-line over its waters. The visit to the last Cenote is sure to be a relaxing one. Excellent and informative trip. Contoy is beautiful, saw turtles,barracuda,needless, stingray. The shrimp ceviche was good, Captain, crew, and guides were all very attentive. The overall trip for us was about 9 hrs from hotel pickup and back again. Would definitely go again.

Xplor was a blast with teenagers! If you have little ones maybe not so much but we were able to get through every activity. The buffet was delicious as well!
