Playa Blanca: Tours & Tickets
What people are saying about Playa Blanca
If you are thinking of going to Playa Blanca, keep being patient in mind, it is a public beach and locals harass you to buy them souvenirs, massages and even jet skis rides. Transportation was comfortable and faster than we expected. I recommend you to send a text or confirm you are getting picked up, I trusted my reservation and the company forgot to pick up my group, they sent us a guide to pick us up in a taxi at almost 9:20, a taxi we didn't fit in, so the guide left us alone going where the bus was. José, our tour guide was pretty enthusiastic and made up for the missed pick up, lunch was delicious.
Even though the weather was bad and rained most of the day, our tour guide, Ruben made it very interesting since he was knowledgeable about the area. Snorkeling was not too good due to the cloudy water. Swimming at the beach in the afternoon and the delicious fresh fish lunch, along with Ruben going over and beyond to help us, made it a perfect day!
We had an excellent trip. The ride to Playa Blanca was comfortable and timely. José did an excellent job of explaining what to expect at the beach and all the amenities available. The lunch was tasty and the beach is gorgeous. Bring pesos if you wanna buy souvenirs and trinkets on the beach, plenty of vendors there!
Fantastic. Meeting point was tough to find in the morning since we speak very limited spanish, but the guide and driver were fab. Showed us around, took us to the best spots. Juan the guide was very helpful with snorkeling and the captain navigated the rough sea like a champ. Only way to travel to the islands!
We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. Alex was a great tour guide with much interesting information. The food was fresh & delicious & the people on the island were as humble and friendly as can be. Although we wish we could have seen more corals and fishes, we had a great time!
