Naxos: Island Coastline Guided E-Bike Tour

1. Naxos: Island Coastline Guided E-Bike Tour

An easy route will take you on a journey through less-traveled pathways and – if you’re lucky – you may even spot some seagulls perched atop straw balls! Depending on your mood, you can take a swim in the azure, crystal-clear waters or just keep riding to the end. For those who join us during the sunset session, we recommend a short 2-minute hike to a seaside chapel to take in the stunning colors of the sunset while your guide will have a chat with the shark-shaped rock to leave you alone. Afterward, you can choose to go back the same way or trust your guide and let them take you back on a different route – hopefully. Make the most of your island stay and book with us now!

Naxos: Highlights Full-Day Tour by Bus

2. Naxos: Highlights Full-Day Tour by Bus

The first stop is Demeter temple, a spectacular recently restored ancient temple from 530 BC. Apart from the impressive monument, you'll have the chance to visit the archeological museum located in the same area, and to check out some findings from the site. Continue the tour to Damalas, a cute little village in the heart of Tragea Valley where you'll enjoy a demonstration at the only remaining traditional pottery workshop and the traditional restored olive press. Then drive to Chalkio, a neoclassical village where you can walk in picturesque alleys, visit the traditional citron distillery/museum, and have an espresso while taking in the classy atmosphere. A visit to Panagia Drosiani, the oldest church on the Balcan Peninsula, is a must during your visit. Head then to the famous village of Naxos, Apiranthos, the “marble village," and stroll down marble cobbled streets and take loads of photos. Drive towards the north part of Naxos island to end up on the northeast edge in Apollonas, a small typical Cycladic village. Have a swim or just relax at one of the cafes by the sea. On the way back, stop by the impressive Kouros, a colossal unfinished statue from the 6th century BC, before returning to Chora, taking in gorgeous views along the way.

The Naxos Highlights full-day bus tour was amazing - far exceeding all expectations! Tour Guide Nikos and the driver were both exceptional. Nikos is fluent in English and a wealth of information on the island, which he clearly loves. The driver must be complimented on his skills in extreme driving conditions! Only 1 criticism (suggestion for future tours): a longer time should be spent in Apiranthos, where it was too short to do more than have a snack. This could be a lunch break for 1.5 hours at least. Most of us were hungry by then! Time at Apollonas could be shorter, making up for this - most passengers did not swim, so 1 hour there there is adequate. This is the ideal tour for an overall picture of Naxos and to be informed of many facts which one would otherwise be unaware of. One can later return to the village/s of choice by local bus. Visited: Demeter's Temple, Damalas, Apiranthos, Chalkio, Apollonas, Kouros statue, Kitron distillery, pottery workshop, ancient olive oil press.

Fabulous tour!!! So glad we booked it. Nikolas is an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide! Together with Mike, his skilled bus driver, they made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the tour with its many winding roads and their easy banter and Nikolas’ witty jokes!! The bus was spacious and very comfortable and we never had trouble hearing Nikolas on the bus’s intercom or outside (no whispers required.) he made good use of the time spent on the bus with his stories and vast knowledge. This tour was well worth it as we otherwise would never have seen the more remote and other beautiful and breathless spots of Naxos nor have learned so much fascinating history that only a local could know and tell it. All The stops on this tour were interesting and we never felt rushed. Would highly recommend this 8-hour tour to everyone who visits Naxos!!

This tour was amazing!! My bf and I did it on our third day in Naxos. We were worried the tour wasn’t going to happen due to it being the off season. But thankfully it did and it did not disappoint! Would really recommend this tour if you are in Naxos especially since the island is so big ! Shout out to our tour guide Nikolas he was the best !! Book itttt
