Due to health and safety regulations, this itinerary may change. See Know before you go for the latest updates.

Explore the fascinating history of one of the world’s most beloved spirits. After meeting your expert guide downtown, head off on a walking tour, focusing on the story of whiskey in Pittsburgh. Learn about the Whiskey Rebellion, an 18th century response to a proposed whiskey tax. Hear stories of the raucous speakeasies of prohibition, and learn the locations of some hidden ones that still exist today. After your walking tour, you’ll head to the opulent Omni William Penn Hotel to visit the Wigle Whiskey tasting room, where you’ll sample 4 of their locally produced, artisanal whiskeys. Learn about the revival of craft spirits while you sip, and if you so desire, enjoy whiskey cocktails afterwards at a discount.
