Your experience will begin as you are welcomed by the expert and qualified ICOpro instructors. They will proceed to show you your equipment and tell you all about the awesome canyoning experience you are about to have. Once you are comfortably fitted into your warm wet suit, harness, helmet, and shoes, you will learn about canyoning. This will involve your guides talking you through how to jump, slide, and abseil safely. Your canyoning experience consists of journeying down the numerous beautiful waterfalls. Along the way, your instructor will guide you through the various different challenges. There are jumps which range from 1 meter up to 10 meters, but they will be left completely up to you if you choose to leap from them. There are many natural water slides and chutes, and along your descent, there will be some waterfall abseils which are perfect for a photo opportunity. The full trip lasts 3 hours from start to finish, and at the end of your trip, you will receive your ICOpro certification along with your free photos. Everything on this trip is challenge by choice, and expert instructors will be with you every step of the way.

3. Scotland's Splash White Water Rafting On Two Rivers Tour

Experience rafting two amazing rivers on the same day: the River Tay at Aberfeldy and the River Tummel at Pitlochry! First, ride the River Tay in an adrenaline-fueled white water rafting tour at the heart of Scotland. Flowing through Aberfeldy, Dunkeld and Perth, the tour ends on the coast in Dundee. Then, paddle on to the second lef of your adventure, the River Tummel, and get ready for your drop! At the end of the tour, your raft drops down an 18-food (6 meter) waterfall into Loch Faskally! Each raft is led by a trained trip leader. Safety is ensured and covered in a comprehensive brief prior to the tour. During the tour, you'll learn and practice safety drills well before the most intense spots, ensuring not just a fun but also safe experience for everyone.

The River Tummel Rafting tour is seasonal and operates only 17 weekends each year. Tours begin in early June and run until the last weekend in September. The white water rafting tours lasts 2.5 hours max and the rafts that are used have a capacity of 6 participants. The meeting point is the loch-side picnic area of a scenic glen near Pitlochry, Scotland. There are large tents set up for you so you can change into your rafting clothes. You’ll also receive the equipment you need for the river adventure. After getting geared up you’ll take a 5-mile bus ride to the starting point of the rafting trip. Private cars are not allowed as this is a restricted dam area. Next is a comprehensive safety briefing by your guide, who will also answer any questions you may have. Once you’re on the water, the trip begins and the fun begins. You’ll be rafting on a tight and narrow technical grade 3 and 4 river. The scenery along the way is stunning and the rapids increase in difficulty as the trip progresses. On the final section of the river you’ll tackle a series of rapids cumulating in a 2-tier, 18-foot grade 4 rapid that will leave you screaming for more! The activity ends with a gentle paddle across the Loch, which takes you back to the meeting point.

The Upper Falls Canyoning trip is the ultimate canyoning experience. This steeper and deeper section of Bruar Falls finds you committed to a stunning journey down a series of incredible waterfalls that include two tier slides and technical cliff jumps. You and your fellow canyoners will abseil from a 22m waterfall and explore the base of the deep ravine. So if you’re confident with heights and looking for the next level up then this is the Canyoning adventure for you.

Meet the guide and fit the equipment before heading off on a 30minute hike to the very top of the Bruar water. Following a short briefing from the guide learn how to safely jump and slide into the deep pools on the upper section of the gorge. After a series of super fun jumps and slides the group arrives under a picturesque stone bridge where the next part of the adventure begins. Learn and practice how to abseil in a canyon before taking on a mighty abseil beside a beautiful waterfall. Descend the full length of the Bruar water exploring all the possibilities to enjoy this incredible natural playground before heading back to the vehicles for some drinks, snacks and a chance to share the photos.

Gorge Walking is a brilliantly exciting way to discover the stunning landscapes of Scotland. Accompanied by a highly experienced outdoor pursuit guide you will follow the river through the gorge, scrambling over rocks, jumping into plunge pools and helping each other across the water and generally having a lot of fun! Bruar gorge is a short 20 minutes drive from our base in Perthshire. This family-friendly trip will have you moving through the gorge while you traverse rocks, waterfalls and all the obstacles Scotland's natural landscape has to offer. This is an awesome adventure for families, stag and hen groups and corporate groups. You must have a generally good level of fitness to complete this course. We also run canyoning trips which are the bigger sibling of our gorge walking experiences.
