Full description

Begin with a pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Phuket and a one-hour transfer to the elephant sanctuary. Be warmly welcomed upon arrival with an Elephant Behavior and Save & Care program to prepare for your encounter.

Feed the elephants baskets of bananas, sugarcane, cucumber, and corn. While they enjoy their food, learn from the guides about the background of each elephant.

Next, prepare the elephants with a spa treatment and shower. Discover the healing benefits of special spa mud that help to heal elephant wounds from many kinds of scratches, skin damages, and provides heat balance benefits for the body and blood flow.

Tour guide was excellent - learnt a lot of new facts about elephants! Fun, family day out - opportunity to prepare lunch and a mud mask for the elephants. Lots of opportunities to take beautiful photos with the elephants and purchase a framed photo at the end of the day. The lunchbox meal was soo good as well! 10/10

This was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it! They pick you up and take you directly to the park. We opted for the noon time so we began with lunch which was a good amount of food. After we prepped the sugarcane to feed the elephants. After feeding them we prepared their “medicine” and rubbed it all over the elephants. After we rinsed it off and then walked down into the little pond to scrub them down. The guide and entire staff was amazing and very attentive. Another nice thing was they had their “photoman” taking pictures the entire time AND they email you EVERY photo they took of you and your party. I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn about the elephants and don’t mind getting in on their spa day. I would happily do this tour again in the future.

I really enjoyed spending time with the elephants. I got to feed them, wash them and bathe with them in the water. I wish there had been a disclaimer on the tour description to let me know that we will be making up the clay mask for the elephants. I was unaware of this and still have dried clay stuck in my finger nails! But overall it was a really enjoyable experience and if you like elephants, I would highly recommend it.
