Full description

Explore the Elephant Wildlife Sanctuary in Phuket and feed the elephants with bananas, corn, and more. Learn more about the elephants from your guide, and uncover the benefits of spa treatment on the animals before savoring a delicious lunch box.

Begin with a pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Phuket and a one-hour transfer to the elephant sanctuary. Be warmly welcomed upon arrival with an Elephant Behavior and Save & Care program to prepare for your encounter.

Feed the elephants baskets of bananas, sugarcane, cucumber, and corn. While they enjoy their food, learn from the guides about the background of each elephant.

Next, prepare the elephants with a spa treatment and shower. Discover the healing benefits of special spa mud that help to heal elephant wounds from many kinds of scratches, and skin damage, and provides heat balance benefits for the body and blood flow.

Enjoy lunch with a Pad Thai box set and seasonal fruits before departing back to your hotel in Phuket. Leave inspired and informed, having supported the elephants and future care at the Elephants Wildlife Sanctuary.

Time is too loose! I was promised to pick you up at the hotel lobby at 7:00 am, but I didn't show up at that time! No problem if you call me! I'll be there from 7:50 to 8:00! It feels like there is Thailand! But the tour content was very good, I was able to interact with elephants a lot. It was the best two hours. It was nice to participate, but if possible, it would be better to go on your own instead of a tour!

Did this tour March 2023 and it was amazing. Loved the pick up and tip off to our hotel, the education received about the elephants, the time we got to spend taking care of them. Feeding them, bathing them, and taking awesome pictures with them. We were provided a locker for our stuff, lunch, and an option to buy a 2 min movie of our experience. Really awesome tour and a must do while in Phuket!!!!

Fab trip for all animal lovers! We learned and witnessed loads about the elephant rehab process, got to chop sugar cane up and feed to the 10 resident elephants before making a mud, turmeric and salt paste to rub over the elephants (and us!)… before joining them in a lake to wash and scrub them… and us! Lovely buffet lunch afterwards too after showering. Lots of opportunity to experience closeness with these magnificent and incredibly powerful animals who are very much cared for by the staff. The oldest resident we met was 64 years old and the youngest, a rather “cheeky” rescued 2 year old! Would definitely recommend!
