Day 1 --> King Cruiser
On the May 4th 1997, a car ferry known as the King Cruiser sank. The ferry was navigating between Phuket and Phi Phi Island when it hit the underwater pinnacle of the Anemone Reef. The impact split the pinnacle in two and created a massive hole in the hull allowing water to enter. The vessel sank a few hours later, approximately one kilometer from the Anemone Reef. All 561 passengers on board were rescued. This diving site is suitable for certified divers. You will also be able to engage in the PADI Advanced Open Water and PADI Specialty courses at the King Cruiser Wreck.
