Full description

Paddle a canoe and ride a longtail boat on this multi-stop adventure tour from Phuket with private and shared options. Taste local food, swim at Talu Cave, and visit James Bond Island to see the majestic limestone karsts made famous by the 1974 James Bond movie, “The Man with the Golden Gun.”

After pickup from your hotel in Phuket, head straight to the first stop of the day, Wat Suwan Khuha, also known as the Monkey Cave, because of the cheeky primates living in the temple complex. Descend into the cave temple and look at the statues and carvings before making your way to the pier.

Next, board a longtail boat and sail to the second stop, Panyee Island, also known as the Floating Village. Built on stilts by the local fishermen, the island has been inhabited since the 18th century. Explore the village, taking in local life, before having lunch at a restaurant in the village.

After stuffing your belly with delicious local fare, board the boat again to make your way to Talu Cave. Enjoy some free time to canoe and swim in the beautiful blue water. Explore the cave area, where you will find incredible stalactites and stalagmites and unusually shaped rock formations.

Then, continue to the day’s main attraction, James Bond Island. Stop at the perfect viewpoint to see the breathtaking 20-meter rock formation, a solitary cliff surrounded by turquoise waters and cliffs. Admire the unforgettable picturesque scenery before starting the journey back to Phuket.

Amazing day with our tour guide Maria! Highly recommend it. It's different form doing other islands which include snorkelling and swimming. This is great to enjoy long boat ride in a middle of a national Parc which will take away your breath from the beauty of it. The kayaking was really nice as well. James Bond island is observed from a very small beach that has a lot of people (seemed a lot because very small). I can't imagine how busy it can get there after covid restriction are removed for travelling. But apart from that the all experience will be forever cherished and I give also a lot of credit for it to Maria for taking time to take pictures of us, explain the history of everything we saw and mostly being so friendly and smiling all the time despite Ramadan and the hot weather on that day.

My trip was a huge success! I was picked up from the hotel on time by my guide Chong and went straight to the cheeky monkeys. With my luck I was the only one in the group that day, so I had a private tour. In die was great from start to finish! Chong always found opportunities to take a beautiful picture of me, explained some things to me about Buddhism in the temple and showed me how Buddhists pray, meditate and honor their loved ones. Chong was also very caring about the James Bond Island, in addition to taking more photos and explanations, he always made sure that we didn't get into a large group of people due to the current Corona situation and that we got home safely. ...and the MASSIVE lunch at the Floating Village alone is worth the trip

Great excursion with Au, an excellent guide. private van; They picked us up on time at the hotel and took us first to the Monkey Cave Temple. From there we went to the pier to ride the private long-tail motorized canoe; we ate in the quaint town of Koh Panyee, took a private kayak ride around the bay, and ended up on James Bond Island. Super recommended.
