Phuket: City Tour, Yoga, and Muay Thai Class

2. Phuket: City Tour, Yoga, and Muay Thai Class

Start the day bright and early and be taken to your first activity, a yoga class. Prepare yourself for the day ahead with a tranquil workout and meditation sessions with a local yoga teacher. Next, burn off some calories in a Muay Thai class. Learn the basics of this much-loved Thai martial art and perfect a couple of punch and kick combos. After a sweaty workout, purchase a delicious local lunch. Head to Karon Viewpoint for the first stop of the Phuket city tour. Snap photos of all corners of the island, then continue on to the Big Buddha statue. Standing an impressive 45 meters in height, the statue is one of the most famous landmarks on the island. Continue to Wat Chalong, one of Phuket’s most sacred temples. It is rumored that a fragment of Buddha’s bone can be found in the hall of the grand pagoda. Marvel at the numerous golden statues and detailed carvings of the temple before heading to the last stop. Finish the tour in the Old Town of Phuket. This famous Portuguese-inspired area houses colorful shops that sell a variety of local wares. Wander the streets to take in the sights, sounds, and culinary smells, before you’re returned back to your accommodation.

What people are saying about Phuket City

Very great experience. However, all the people there are sometimes a bit - I don't want to say intrusive - but almost compel you to have 1003002847283 pictures taken. All in all, our stay there was far too short for us. What is advertised with 4 hours (with transport of course) ended up with about 2.5 hours. It's a shame for the money. Still had a very great experience with a baby elephant. Definitely to be recommended.

This is a small and intimate sanctuary with 7 friendly elephants. We had the chance to spend alot of time with Adele who is super gentle and funny. Also got the chance to play with a baby elephant called Tang Mo. Were lucky and got the whole place to ourselves in the morning. Highly recommend!

Great experience. We're able to interact with the elephants a lot. The staff was very friendly and informative. They provide us with lunch and transportation from and back to the hotel. I recommend this tour.

Very nice activity, the staffs are very nice too, they show us how to take care of elephants. I recommend going there when you are in Phuket.

Team of professionals who take their time to make us discover the sweetness of exchanges with elephants
