A full 5-day excursion to see Niagara Falls and the Thousand Islands. Continue to the historic city of brotherly love in Philadelphia and see the famous Liberty Bell and Independence Hall Square. You will also visit Washington DC, the US capital and visit the US Mint. Continue to Lancaster to learn about the Amish community. Day 1: Sunday New York – Finger Lakes – Niagara Falls In the morning, you'll depart from the Big Apple and head north. Pass the beautiful Delaware Gap to Watkins Glen State Park in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. Walk through Watkins Glen Canyon to visit the beautiful waterfalls and then continue to Niagara Falls passing Seneca Lake, arriving in the late afternoon. Tour the American Side of the Falls including the American Falls, Goat Island, and Luna Island. At night, tour Niagara Falls to appreciate the colorful lighting of the waters. Overnight: Niagara Falls – Wyndham Super 8. Day 2: Monday Niagara Falls – 1000 Islands Leaving the hotel, hear the thundering water of Niagara Falls. See the falls up close from the Horseshoe Falls. Afterwards, depart from Niagara Falls and travel through the northern part of New York State to explore the Finger Lakes region and Syracuse. Overnight at Alexandria Bay in the Thousand Islands area, on the American side. In April, dependent on weather, the tour may return to Niagara Falls overnight. Day 3: Tuesday 1000 Islands – New York Start the day with a cruise through the amazing Thousand Islands along the Saint Laurence River, see the houses of the rich and famous built atop private islands.  After lunch, head to New York. Enjoy a shopping excursion at one of the large outlet malls along the way and find some bargains in the brand name stores. Arrive at your hotel in New Jersey in the evening. Overnight New Jersey – La Quinta Inn and Suites, Fairfield. Day 4: Wednesday New Jersey – Philadelphia – Washington DC Depart New Jersey to the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia. Upon arriving, visit the historic area of Philadelphia, visit the famous Liberty Bell and both Constitution Square and Constitution Hall, some of the symbols of freedom in America. Then embark on a panoramic tour that includes Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Elfreth’s Alley (the oldest inhabited street in America), and more.  Departing Philadelphia, see the famous “Rocky Steps” and then continue north to Lancaster county home of the Amish people. Start your visit with a ride on an authentic Amish Buggy through the Amish farm country and learn how they live without the benefit of modern technology, no electricity, running water, telephone service, or appliances. After the ride, visit the Amish marketplace where you can shop for handmade arts and crafts. Overnight: Holiday Inn Express and Suites DC. Day 5: Thursday Washington DC – New York Start the day with a visit of Thomas Jefferson Memorial, by the Tidal Basin, surrounded with famous Japanese cherry blossom trees. Visit the Arlington National Cemetery, the changing of the guards and the Kennedy family gravesite.  Next stop is Capitol Hill. See the US Capitol and the White House to understand the core of the US government. Continue to the Air and Space Museum before visiting the Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Korea and Vietnam Memorials. In the late afternoon depart for an evening arrival in New York.

When one thinks of Philadelphia the first thing that comes to mind is the liberty bell. Originally housed in the independence hall, it now has its own building: the Liberty Bell Center. The center is filled with plenty of history about the Liberty Bell, and there is also of course the bell itself. Learn about Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution was debated and signed. Betsy Ross house is a small house with a big history, with Betsy Ross being credited with stitching the first American flag. City Hall will be next, which is the beautiful centerpiece of the city. Anchoring the long expanse of Broad Street, it offers an almost castle-like atmosphere with its intricate arches and stairways. You will then be able to run the "Rocky Steps", with the perfect photo and video opportunity waiting for you at the top of these iconic stairs. Philadelphia loves Rocky, and this is a truly iconic place with countless tourists lining up to grab a photo and doing their best Balboa impressions running up the steps. After visiting the most iconic places in Philadelphia you will head out to Lancaster County and the Amish community. There you will be taken back in time by their way of life, which includes no modern technology, electricity, or cell phones. You can experience an original Amish buggy ride to visit the local Amish farms, and will also enter an Amish home. Leaving the Amish in the afternoon, you will head back to New York City.

Make your way to 30th Street Amtrak Station in Philadelphia for a rail trip to Washington. Take a seat on Amtrak's rail-cars with a hot beverage and relax. By late morning, you'll be in Union Station in Washington DC, ready for a wonderful day of shopping, sightseeing and dining. Once in Washington, have a bite at the station or make your way over to Hard Rock Cafe for a priority seated, 2-course lunch. Otherwise, do lunch later and grab a muffin at the station. Your hop-on hop-off bus will be waiting right outside to take you on a wonderful tour of what makes Washington such an important city. Hop-on and off at any of the stops to enjoy the multitude of museums and monuments in the US capital. Visit the National Archives, containing a signed Declaration of Independence, or any of the Smithsonian Museums including the National Air and Space Museum or the National Museum of Natural History. Check out Madame Tussauds, the National Holocaust Museum, the International Spy Museum and more. For history buffs, visit Arlington National cemetery, Vietnam Memorial or Ford's Theater, the theater where President Lincoln was assassinated. Save some time to return in the late afternoon to Union Station and walk around to view this magnificent 1908 station saved from demolition in the 1980s. After a day of Washington DC sightseeing, tour Amtrak train will whisk you back to Philadelphia in the evening.

This was my first ever Segway experience. As a 65-year-old who is a little afraid of speed, I was quite anxious. I did fine. I really enjoyed the murals. My favorite was the tidal wave on a high school - beautiful! Deshon was amazing! He was very supportive and informative.

I really enjoyed my experience. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. i would definitely go again!
