What people are saying about Phang Nga Province
I would recommend this to anyone. It’s definitely an early start (4am pickup) but well worth it to see the sunrise and walk through James Bond island and canoe with minimal crowds. As an added bonus, you are at the canoe place early enough to where the tides are low and you can explore caves you wouldn’t be able to at high tide. Our tour guide was excellent and provided insight but let us explore on our own too. We ended up only having 4 people which made it feel essentially like a private tour. Well worth the extra cost that avoids the typical 35+ person tours/congestion.
Phenomenal experience! You'll have to get up very early, but it's definitely worth it because you'll avoid all the other tourists who are coming later. For example, we were the first to arrive at James Bond Island and then a continuous wave of groups came right after we were done with the island. Get ready to walk a lot, go up and down hills and walk on uneven terrains. The caves were spectacular and our tour guide, Nui, was very knowledgeable and experienced.
It was an awesome trip with wonderful guide Palm, who went above & beyond to make sure everyone was having a good time! The sunrise was magical, and seeing James Bond Island early in the morning, before others came was the only way to enjoy it in my opinion. Caves & Canoe experience were great too, and guides took pictures of everyone who wanted. Highly recommended!
Rafi is a great tour guide! Thank you for your effort and the wealth of information!
You wont be disappointed. Even with rainy weather.
