    The tour departs from Eilat and heads towards Petra, crossing the Aravah border along the way. Ride through the dusty desert landscapes, and marvel at the vast sandy scenery that stretches out all around you. Follow the scenic route alongside the mountains before arriving at Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Upon arrival, explore the highlights of the site with your expert guide and listen to fascinating stories and legends about the people who once lived here. As you amble around, admire the vibrant hues of the rocks from which most of the buildings here were carved, earning Petra the nickname ‘red-rose city’. Following your tour, enjoy some free time to wander around the site at your own leisure and focus on the areas that interest you most. After the tour, start the return journey to Eilat in the direction of the port region of Aqaba. Along the drive, stop at a selection of observation points to marvel at the breathtaking landscape of the Wadi Rum desert, where the red rocky mountains blend into the sunny horizon.

    • The border fees ($65 USD) and Jordanian visa fees ($60USD if you have not pre-arranged a visa) must be paid on site. USD and Jordanian Dinar are accepted.
    • Modest clothing is recommended (no short skirts, low cut shirts or garment revealing the midriff). Headscarves are not required
    • Suggested tip for group tours to Jordan is $5 per person per day for the driver and guide. Tips are a huge part of the tourism culture in this region and a great signal of your appreciation It is recommended to follow the customs and tip in order to ensure a high quality experience for customers now and beyond
    • Please bring your passport, sunscreen, sunglasses and hat, scarf, ATM card or cash, US Dollars or Jordanian Dinar for tips, and shoes suitable for walking

    Very good organization and assistance at the border crossing in Israel and Jordan. Everything went very fast. And the trip to Petra ... waw! Nizar is the best...made all the money. An educated man, with a broad general culture, who presented us all the history of Petra, but also of the Middle East! Everiting is ok!

    It is not very cheap. The tour costs 183 euros plus 125 dollars visa. BUT: Alone the entry in the price of over 100 euros is included in the 183 euros. In that sense, the price is OK. The bus is modern and has Wi-Fi. At the border it took us about 2 hours to arrive.

    Very well organized trip with a towering guide Nizar. He was great on the bus on the way to Petra and gave us a lot of background information about Jordan and Petra. When we were stopped on the way back by the Jordanian police, he mastered the situation so that we could continue without the police entering the bus! Petra is beautiful and exciting and with hindsight it is better to plan more time than a 1-day trip. If you have little time, this trip is ideal.
