Your journey takes you along the eastern foreshore of Perth’s pristine Swan River through an urban wetland, a haven for native birds on the urban fringe of the CBD. Sports fans will recognize the historic Western Australian Cricket ground, known as the WACA, as we follow the foreshore to see Perth’s newest venue, Perth Stadium, adjacent to Western Australia’s only casino complex, the internationally renowned Crown Casino. Just off the foreshore route is the small inlet, Claisebrook Cove, one of Perth’s hidden gems. A hub of riverside cafes, bars and elegant homes, you could be forgiven for imagining yourself in a quaint European village.  As you meander back through East Perth to the city, your route passes some of the city’s most beautiful heritage buildings including the famous Perth Mint, historic Government House and the lush Supreme Court Gardens with time to stop in some of Perth’s best photo locations. In just 90 minutes, you will travel 12 km. This tour is a wonderful introduction to some of Perth’s most beautiful locations that will encourage a second visit.

Starting from the South Perth foreshore, your friendly guide will lead you towards the causeway which will see you stopping at some hidden wetlands, learning about historical locations, and observing some beautiful bird life along the way. You will cross the Matagarup Bridge to the iconic Optus Stadium, where you can capture some amazing photos of this renowned location. At this point you will take a break to refuel and enjoy the stunning views with a cafe stop in Claisebrook Cove. After a well-earned rest, jump back on your bike and continue exploring the city side of the foreshore before arriving at the newly created Elizabeth Quay area. Finally, you will make the return journey via Perth's oldest surviving colonial building and the narrow bridge.

Test your limits at Perth's Optus Stadium and walk along the outer edge with a harness. Defy gravity as you soak up the views of the stadium and visit the Western Viewing Deck for panoramic views of Perth. Make your way to the roof where you will be fitted with your harness. After a safety briefing, walk ten meters along the outer edge without handrails. Feel free to lean over and experience the staggering views of the stadium. After, enjoy access to the new Western Viewing Deck, where you can soak up the views of the Swan River, the Matagarup Bridge, and panoramic views of Perth City.

I couldn’t recommend this experience highly enough, our guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer every question asked of her. We were given a comprehensive tour of the stadium from the coaches bench to the most comfortable seats available.

An amazing stadium and we had a fantastic tour guide (Bruce) who connected to everyone in our tour and made it an interesting and fun experience. Well worth doing.
