What a fun day. I was staying in downtown Perth and I had to go to another hotel on the other side for pick up. I took a free CAT bus for that. Then the bus took us to Hilary’s Harbor, where I got my ticket, bike and got on the ferry. Once on Rottnest Island you almost immediately see the Quokkas near all the cafes. It was incredible and everything my quokka loving heart had dreamed of. The island is a bit hilly so be prepared for that when cycling. The north side of the island had a cute lighthouse and beautiful beach. Definitely plan on spending the entire day here!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Bikes are loaded and unloaded onto boat for you. Heaps of free parking so you can leave the car for the day. the discount meals at Hilary’s are a bonus upon your return. By the time we ate, traffic had cleared and we had a clear run out of there

A fantastic experience on the island with cycling, scenary and most importantly a picture with the quokkas!

Bikes are bit rough but everything is well organised and it is worth it !

Well worth the trip and the he best way to see the island
