The first stop on the way to Pelješac is at the medieval town of Ston, where you’ll admire the largest wall in Europe stretching 5.5 kilometers between the towns of Ston and Mali Ston. You also visit the salt works where salt has been produced using the same methods for hundreds of years. Walk through the narrow streets of Ston, which was the second most important town in the Dubrovnik Republic. The winding roads of the Pelješac peninsula lead you to the second wine producer. After tasting a selection of wine and traditional snacks, you visit the vineyards situated on the steep slopes of the hills facing the sea. Here you have the opportunity to take photos of this unique wine region and fall in love with the country. Your next stop is at a vineyard where the host prepares wine tasting between the grape vines and explains everything there is to know about Pelješac wines. Finish off this wonderful day with a typical peasant brunch called “marenda” in the rustic ambient of a Dalmatian pub known as “konoba”. Depending on the season and weather conditions, the food will be prepared in front of you in the open fireplace, allowing you to join the short cooking class. You'll also have the chance to visit a family-owned oyster and mussel farm where you'll taste oysters direct from the sea, paired with local wine.

Explore the fascinating Trsteno Arboretum, the oldest botanical garden in Croatia and the only arboretum in Croatia located on the Adriatic coast. It's known for its historical gardens and collection of Mediterranean and exotic plants. Within the arboretum complex you will see the Chapel of St. Jerome, an old olive mill, an aqueduct and a baroque fountain with the Roman god Neptune and nymphs. With a rich plant collection of several hundred cultivated and wild species, Trsteno Arboretum unites natural and cultural heritage. As part of the Gučetić Renaissance Park, there is a pavilion with a beautiful view of the open sea and the Elaphite Islands. The second destination is the city of salt with the oldest active salt pan in the world and the longest stone wall in Europe (5.5 kilometers). During our visit to Ston you will have a chance to try fresh oysters as well as other seafood that made Ston the gastronomy center of Croatia. Ston is place where oysters were grown since Roman times, especially European flat oyster, one of the most valued species of oysters in the world. Once we arrived on the island, we will start our day trip by discovering the picturesque old town of Korčula, the main town of the island. It is a unique experience to walk along the narrow streets and among the beautiful churches and magnificent palaces of what is considered to be one of the best-preserved Medieval towns in the Mediterranean. Being famous stonemasons, shipbuilders and seafarers, the people of Korčula left their marks all over the world, but saved their best works for their hometown. After a sightseeing tour of the old town of Korčula, you will have some free time for lunch. After lunch, you shouldn't miss out swimming in the crystal clear water of the island's beautiful beaches. On our way back to Dubrovnik, we will make a stop in one of the well-known wine cellars on the Pelješac peninsula and sample some of the excellent local wine.
