Pokhara is situated at an elevation of 915m above sea level and 200m west of Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Pokhara is a valley rich in pure natural beauty, it is indeed one of the main attractions for visitors from all over the world. Three out of the ten highest mountains in the world. — Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I and Manaslu — are within 30 miles (linear distance) of the city, so that the northern skyline of the city offers a very close view of the Himalayas. This one-day tour will give a taste of Pokhara, beginning with sunrise at Sarangkot. In the morning, drive to Sarangkot for sunrise and view of the Himalayas. In the afternoon, visit Mahendra cave, a Tibetan camp and the international Mountain Museum, as well as visiting the Shang Gadhen Choekorling Monastery to see Tibetan refugees camp and experience praying with them as well.

Beginning from Kathmandu, make your way to the Annapurna Sanctuary where your 14-day trek will commence. Throughout your trek there will be a leader, an assistant leader, and porters for carrying luggage. This arrangement ensures that even in the event that anybody in the group becomes sick, the trip can still go ahead as planned. Day 1: On your first day you will arrive to Kathmandu, after which you will check-in to your hotel. You will then be free to explore the town at your own leisure, before spending the night in a 3-star hotel. Day 2: Your second day will consist of sightseeing in Kathmandu. You will explore Patan Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and the Swayambhunath monkey temple. The square, situated in the heart of the city, consists of an enchanting assortment of palace buildings, artistic courtyards, and graceful pagoda temples. The former royal palace complex is the center of Patan's religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects. There are three main courtyards or chowks, named central Mul Chowk, Sundari Chowk, and Keshav Narayan Chowk in the square. You will later spend the night in your 3-star hotel, with leisure time in the evening. Day 3: Following breakfast on the third day you will drive/fly to Lumbini. After arriving, you will check-in to the Hotel Peace Palace or similar. Day 4: Your fourth day will consist of Lumbini sightseeing, where you will discover an area that is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Rupendahi district of Nepal. It is sometimes claimed to be the place where Queen Mayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama, who as the Buddha Gautama founded the Buddhist tradition. Lumbini is one of 4 magnets for pilgrimage that sprang up in places pivotal to the life of the Buddha, the others being in Kushinagar, Bodh Gaya, and Sarnath. Lumbini has a number of temples, including the Mayadevi Temple and others under construction. You will later spend the night once more at the Hotel Peace Palace or similar. Day 5: On your fifth day you will drive/fly back to Kathmandu, where you will overnight in a 3-star hotel. Day 6: Following breakfast at your hotel, you will have free time until your departure, at which point you will be transported in private for your departure at the airport.

Check into your room at the Tiger Palace Resort and stay overnight.  Day 2:  After an early breakfast at your hotel, visit the Lumbini Garden, then drive to Tilaurakot, also known as Kapilvastu. Day 1: Arrival to Kathmandu Following your arrival to Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel to check in. Following that, begin some city sightseeing which includes the Pashupatinath Temple - the most sacred of the Hindu temples in Nepal. Moving on, discover the Boudha Nath Temple, which is the world’s largest stupa. Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing Your morning city sightseeing tour visits highlights of the city, including Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient royal residential quarter, Mahadev, and the Parvati Temple. Later, explore the Swayambhunath Stupa, before moving on to Patan City and Bhaktapur City. Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara Following breakfast, check out from your hotel before driving to Pokhara. Enjoy the beautiful 5 to 6-hour drive to Pokhara, where once having arrived you check in to your hotel. Following check-in, enjoy a boating tour of Phewa Lake - the second-largest lake in Nepal. Hike to places within the rim of the Pokhara Valley, and walk to the surroundings which offer captivating glimpses of rural life. After traveling back to your hotel, enjoy breakfast before exploring the Bindyabasini Temple, International Mountain Museum, the Seti River, Devi’s Fall, and the Gupteshowre Mahadev Cave. Day 5: return to Kathmandu Following breakfast, begin your 5-hour trip to travel back to Kathmandu or opt instead to take a morning flight. 6. Kathmandu: 10-Day Annapurna Base Camp Yoga Trek

Day 1: Arrival to Kathmandu Airport (1,345 meters) You will be met by your representative before being transferred to your hotel for a short brief about the trekking and some refreshments. That evening you will overnight at your Kathmandu hotel. Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara On your second day you will travel for 5-6 hours to Pokhara by tourist bus. In the evening you'll have free time to self-explore around Phewa Lake, before spending the night at the Hotel Third Pole or similar. Day 3: Drive to Modktu (1,250 meters), Chhomrong Trek (2,170 meters) On your third day you will begin the trek from Siwai. You will travel in a shared vehicle for 3 hours to Siwai, traversing along the snake-line road via Naudanda, Nayapul, and Birethanti. The trekking route from Siwai to Chhomrong is very picturesque, and at the conclusion of the day you will stay at the Teahouse Lodge. Day 4: Trek to Himalaya Hotel (2,840 meters) Take a morning walk downhill to the river, before crossing a short bridge and heading up to Sinuwa, at 2,330 meters. This is a lonely spot with a few shops and nice lodges, and from there you can walk into the cool forested area of oaks-rhododendron and pines trees before taking a short steep descent to Bamboo. Bamboo is a small settlement with 5-6 lodges surrounded by bamboo trees which sits on the Modi River Gorge. Day 5: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 meters) Today the trail continues steeply up to the Hinko Cave. You will soon begin a short descent before crossing a rocky moraine. Following that, a short climb will take you to Deurali. That night you will overnight at the Tea House Lodge. Day 6: Trek back to Bamboo (2,310 meters) Day 6 will begin with you observing the splendid sunrise from the Annapurna Base Camp. After breakfast, you will begin to descend. You will take a hike down to Modi Khola at Bamboo, which contains an elevation drop of 1,700 meters. That evening you will overnight at the Bamboo Tea House lodge. Day 7: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Hot Spring (1,780 meters) Jhinu Danda is the destination set for today. From Bamboo you will first hike up to to Kuldhigar, where the office of ACAP and the visitor center is located. The Jhinu hot spring is then 15-20 minutes downhill from Jhinu Danda. You can relax your tired muscles by taking a relaxing dip in the hot spring bathing pool, before your evening is spent at a lodge in Jhinu Danda. Day 8: Jhinu to Pokhara (1,640 meters) Today you can choose to go to the hot spring once more, before beginning your trek down to Nayapul. You will then drive back to Pokhara. where you will overnight at the Hotel Third Pole. Day 9: Drive back to Kathmandu On your second last day you will travel back to Kathmandu by tourist bus, a journey which takes about 6 hours. That evening you'll overnight at the Thamel Eco Resort or Skyline Hotel. Day 10: Kathmandu On your final day you will transfer to the international airport for your final flight departure.
