We enjoyed our tour. our guide was articulate and interesting. We especially appreciated how your team helped us out after our misunderstanding about where to meet for the tour. We thought there would be a Get Your Guide line at the castle. Not so. But they helped us figure out how to meet our guide.

We had a great experience, we choose the Skip the line guided tour (1,5h). Gabrielle was a very good guide, actually we stayed more than 2h with her, she explained us so well everything. We spent the rest of the day in the Gardens. I recommend to check if you have the gardens also included (if not you can pay extra at Get your guide office). Meeting point was on the opposite side of the Train Station of Versailles. Thank you, Gabrielle (I just hope I did not misspelled your name)

The palace itself was magnificent. The tour guide was thorough and respectful. However, it was a cold, rainy day and the precious day we received an email with last minute instructions stating that we were not allowed to bring umbrellas. So we got very wet and we’re very cold. Then, others did have an umbrella so the rules did not really apply. I’m not sure why the email stated we couldn’t bring an umbrella when that was clearly not the case. Clear expectations would be nice ahead of time.
