Check in at the GetYourGuide store, located across the street from the RER line C Versailles Château Rive Gauche train station. Then, be escorted by your guide to the Palace, which is a 10-minute walk from the shop. Take the 'Avenue de Paris' exit at the train station and find the office across the street next to the Café Madeleine. Please be aware that the train from Paris to Versailles takes approximately 1 hour. There are 2 options with public transport: 1. Take a train to the Versailles Rive Droite station (Take line L via Saint Lazare or La Défense) then it's a 25-minute walk to the meeting point. 2. Take a train to Versailles Chantiers station (Take line N via Montparnasse or line U via La Défense) then it's a 15-minute walk to the meeting point

Know before you go
- The palace gardens are free from November through March. On these days you can visit the garden for free after your guided tour
- There are no musical or fountain shows on days when the gardens are free to enter
- Between April and October, there is a fee to access the gardens
- The gardens close at 5:30 PM on certain dates (May 27, every Saturday between June 10 and September 23, July 14, August 15, October 29, and October 31) and from November through March
- After the tour you are allowed to stay in the palace until it closes
- The gardens may close without notice due to bad weather conditions
- During peak times the palace can be very crowded and there may be a short wait at the group entrance
