Paris: Skip-the-Line Arc de Triomphe Rooftop Tickets

3. Paris: Skip-the-Line Arc de Triomphe Rooftop Tickets

The Arc de Triomphe is a Neoclassical take on the ancient Roman triumphal arch style. Fifty meters tall, the view from the platform atop the arch is well worth the hike. See the dozen Parisian avenues radiating out from the arch into the City of Light. Paris is one of the most fascinating places in the world and you will find yourself right at its center. Inspired by the great arches of ancient Rome, Napoleon commissioned the Arc de Triomphe shortly after his victory at Austerlitz. Unfortunately, he never lived to see its completion. At the base of the arch, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier pays tribute to the 1.3 million French soldiers who died in World War I. Behold the eternal flame that is rekindled at 6.30 PM each evening. In addition, there is a must-see exhibition that explains the symbolic importance of this monument. The view from the top of the arch is worth climbing the 284 stairs. From your privileged position, survey all of Paris. Unlike the obligatory Eiffel Tower trip, getting into the Arc de Triomphe is an effort not all tourists undertake. Plus, with skip-the-line tickets, you'll hardly have to break stride on your way in.

Wow! I mean... you cannot visit Paris as a couple.. and not take a cruise on the Seine... And.. of course you can opt for just the cruise without the dinner, buuuut.... 1. you are in Paris with your loved one! So go big - if there is somewhere to not be cheap is the Cruise on the Seine 2. Mathematically - if you take just the cruise and then go for a dinner in Paris - it will cost the same or more... for a good restaurant... We booked the evening dinner on the Seine cruise (it was the 29th of July and even if we are a solar couple - I think lunch on the ship with the sun up high.... is a little overwhelming). Dinner it should be! The directions from the GetYourGuide App where perfect - we found the docks easily. The experience is very elegant and organized - especially if you have tickets pre-booked. Just take your partner by hand - present your self to the reception and get the boarding passes. View is excellent! Fine dining dinner is excellent. Wine is good! Live singer was nice!

The view is excellent and the building itself was magnificent. It was a lovely experience but we completed it at the end of our day after doing a number of rooftop activities (including the eiffel tower via the stairs) so it was the same thing we had already experienced before, with more stairs. So just bear in mind not to book too many rooftop experiences on the same day. The staff were lovely. I liked being able to skip the line- made planning the day easier.

Great experience definitely a must do when in Paris as you get a beautiful view of the city which you don’t get from being on land. Make sure you get a seat on the top of the boat for best experience and views. Very reasonably priced for an hour boat ride!

We had a great experience and an amazing view of the most historical part of Paris

The cruise was very interesting and ticket online were perfect
