There was a lot of historical explanation. Too much in my opinion. On a 2 hour tour we spent 1 hour downstairs listening to stories about artists who are a precursor to impressionists. Then we only got an hour upstairs with the paintings and didn’t have any time for the Renoir room downstairs. I would curb that first part to maybe half an hour.

Good experience at the Louvre, the audio guide only presented a few tables, which did not allow us to fully enjoy it. For the arrival at the boat, the barcode scan made by the application was not complete, I had to re-queue at the reception ticket, suddenly a big waste of time, j was very disappointed. In order to make this day more pleasant, we should attach the bar codes please. And I recommend the audio guide of the Louvre and not that of the application. In conclusion, good day very pleasant even if we had to arm ourselves with patience.

The Louvre is very confusing. Because of Corona there is a "one-way system". That doesn't make things any easier. It is advisable to study the Louvre's plan beforehand. You cannot step directly in front of the Mona Lisa, there is a certain distance. You also stand in line for a while. Not all departments are accessible. There is no physical audio guide. Nevertheless, one should visit the Louvre.
