Full description
Your wine tour starts in front of one of the most famous Parisian brasserie, where you will meet your wine expert guide for a 3-hour walking tour. Throughout the itinerary, you will learn anecdotes about French history, gastronomy, and inevitably, Champagne. You will stop first at a typical fine shop which is owned by a Parisian foodie. There you will find homemade dishes, from charcuterie to desserts, and can pick your first delicacy for the final tasting. Just around the corner, you will explore an amazing place for Champagne lovers, a unique wine cellar in Paris dedicated to Champagne. This fantastic concept emphasizes boutique Champagne producers and the beauty of their terroir. Comfortable in their vaulted cellar, you will taste 3 distinctive Champagnes, each paired with a sweet specialty of the region. Following this first tasting, you should be ready to experience one of the best pastry shops in the city. Selling chocolate, macarons, and cakes, there is something to suit all tastes and desires at this location. You will taste one of their specialty at the final tasting, paired of course with the perfect Champagne. You will then discover an icon of French gastronomy, a traditional French bakery. On your way, you will admire Parisian monuments and charming old streets, served with precious anecdotes from your guide. Last but not least, you will share a good time with one of the best cheese mongers in Paris. There you can learn all about the cheese-making process, and can also immerse yourself in the world of cheese lovers. Finally comes the moment you have been waiting for: the tasting. This tasting will introduce you to famous Champagne houses such as Taittinger and Drappier, as well as the basics of wine and food pairing.
