Although the Notre Dame is closed for restoration and the Crypt was closed, our guide ( I think Sofia) was great at giving history and local facts not just about the Notre Dam but also surrounding neighborhoods. Gave us recommendations for places to eat and visit.

Blame me for not reading the small print so I didn’t realise absolutely none of notre dame is open since the fire. It’s a 30 year project after it happened to refurb the beautiful building . Perhaps it shouldn’t be advertised as a tour of notre dame though as clearly that won’t be happening for a long time so it should be ‘front and centre’ on the website . That said , the tour guide was fabulous - well informed and very witty so it was good fun. Essentially though the tour was advertised as 2 hours and it was only 45 mins walking round the outskirts of the cathedral. Perhaps a price reduction would be appropriate as it’s not a full tour. Still interesting though and we still tipped for a quality guide
