Covid-19 Update

Due to health and safety regulations, this itinerary may change. See Know before you go for the latest updates.

Visit the Eiffel Tower and pre-book your direct access ticket straight to the 2nd floor or all the way up to the Summit (if option is selected). With pre-booked tickets, avoid the long general entry queues. Gain faster access to the privileged vantage point overlooking the City of Lights. Start your small-group tour from the manicured gardens of Trocadero Plaza. Follow your guide across the Jena Bridge to the Champ de Mars, listening all the while to the fascinating history of the original “la Dame de Fer” (Iron Lady).

After the walking tour, your guide will then accompany you past the Eiffel Tower ticket line to ascend in the elevator.

On your self-guided visit of the 1st and 2nd floors (and the Summit, if option selected), have a chance to enjoy every curve from every angle and understand the beautiful science that keeps the structure standing. From the dedicated observation deck on the 2nd level, admire the marvels that lay at your feet. From here, take in iconic sights such as the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysees, and Notre Dame. Take this chance to explore the beauty and history of the Eiffel Tower.

A great intro to the tower and it’s history, and then the opportunity to take the lifts all the way to the top, which we did. Overall a great quick and enjoyable tour. Our guide was holding a flag as stated in the meeting point details, but was it was not an orange flag and didn’t have any get your guide markings at all. We were unsure of where we were and if our guide was “legit” at the beginning.

Great Tour

Our tour guide was amazing and new how to navigate the chaos of the Eiffel Tower to minimize delays. If you want to go to the Eiffel Tower, this would be the only way I would recommend going. The tour does not take you to the summit so pre-purchase your summit tickets before you go because if you don’t, you will have to go back down to ground level and wait in line for 2 hours to get summit tickets. The tour does not include the summit because if the weather gets to bad, which was the case for us, or if the winds get to high the summit is closed for safety reasons. The tour was amazing but the Eiffel Tower is a crazy, overly crowded and chaotic place. Be prepared to have a hard time getting a good photo opportunity. It seems that most people at the Eiffel Tower left their manners at home and are pushing and shoving.

Really great tour in the evening (10 pm)

The tour starts a little bit away from the tower, so you have the chance to take wonderful pictures. "Li" from Nigeria explained a lot about the history and a lot of facts of the tower in a very pleasant way. On the 2nd level, he took a lot of time to show the main buildings of Paris, it is a great view in the night. Ask for "Li" (his nickname) from Nigeria or try to get on his group, there are a lot of groups starting at the same time.
