We arrived after a short ish walk in the rain to find out the elevator was out of order due to extreme heat the day before - Eiffel Tower people said they notified GetYourGuide but the poor guide wasn’t told - put a lot of pressure on her as people where disappointed we’d gone through security checks for no reason. Refund took almost two weeks but didn’t have to contact them, they processed it themselves! Would like to thank our guide for finding a fellow tour guide friend nearby, who we where able to tag along with in his tour (just having to buy our own entrance tickets to summit) so we didn’t completely have no information at all! Given the circumstances, turned out great! Thanks NK!

You meet your guide as directed but not dressed in blue nor carrying anything that says Get your guide. Nevertheless - we found him carrying a small blue flag. He takes your email and sends you tickets - I don’t know why they don’t just send them to you. Guide visits with you on the walk to the tower. Good background info. Watch for pick pocketers - one lady in our group had a close call. Tour guide takes you through the first of 2 security checkpoints and you are on your own. The summit (which we paid for) was closed that day. Expecting a refund - which hasn’t come yet. Easy entry - easy access. Just wished meeting up with guide was better explained. Would recommend.

The tour came with some interesting history lessons and the guide was very pleasant. I’d recommend booking but just know you may not actually get to go to the top depending on the weather. Unfortunately that was the case for us when we went on this tour.
