Full description
Discover the secret to making perfect macarons at a hands-on small group class in the heart of Paris. Typically groups are between 3 to 7 people, making for an intimate experience and full attention from your host. They will demonstrate and give detailed instructions on how to make macarons using the harder-to-master, but more reliable, Italian meringue technique. Learn to pipe, incorporate a color to your shells, and make a ganache or curd filling. Once done, sit down to a shared teatime of tea, coffee, fruit juices, and some of your creations. This is the time when your host will share the story of the macaron, and a couple of other interesting stories about French culture - often tongue in cheek. Before you depart, you will be loaded with a box of your very own creations, which you can share with your friends and family - or eat yourself over the next few days!

Absolutely one of the highlights of our trip! Our instructor was top-notch, everything prepared and ready to go. Beautiful kitchen to work in. Fun classmates (important, since you all work as a team). And then of course, the end result was just delicious! You can be sure we will be visiting Le Foodist on our next visit to enjoy one of their other classes!

So pleased I chose this course, fabulous!

A great course to do. Amazed that I could make these so perfectly. Haven't tried to make these at home yet. Fingers crossed. Caught a taxi to venue, to make sure I arrived on time and less stressful. Course was well organised, three hours went by so quickly. Good teacher. Eight in group, everyone so friendly. Didn't get much time to socialized at end as I had pre booked taxi and it arrived early. Got to take all our macaroons home. Would highly recommend doing this.

    Excellent class

We had such a wonderful time at this class. I was with my two daughters and niece (ages 12, 12, and 15) and they loved it. The teacher had the patience of a saint - really took her time and helped us. The amount of macarons we made was unbelievable. We had a ton to take home and enjoy! Highly recommend this class.
