This is an amazing experience if you are at all interested in the D day sites! Our guide Oliver was amazing, he was so knowledgeable and funny he made the tour experience great. We got to see all of the important land marks, each one taking your breath away. We then ate at a delicious local restaurant (get the bucket of muscles!!!). We ended the day at a beautiful local cidery! We had a great time and learned a lot! This tour is worth the cost!!

Our guide was well informed, he had photos and maps to help us understand the locations of the landings and the German fortifications. We had a relative who landed at Omaha Beach, he was interested in him and his assignment during the war. We had time to explore each location on our own after our guide had explained the significance of our location. The restaurant for lunch was also excellent.

What an incredible experience! Wow. We are so glad we ended up with this one! It was a very full day and truly nothing was left out. Our first stop was a Battery where we got to go inside the bunkers and learn about battle area there. There are still in tact cannons from DDay inside some of the bunkers which was crazy to witness. We then went to Omaha Beach, and and got to spend some time walking the area after our guide shared the history there. Afterwards we went to Point Du Hoc where the US Rangers climbed the ocean cliffs in order to take control of that stronghold. It was surreal to see the ground covered in huge divots where ally bombs were dropped. We stopped for lunch at a local Creperie, then spent time at the DDay Memorial and Cemetery. We ended with cider tasting at a local cider farm which was incredible and such a unique experience! Olivia, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and personable and her English was perfect. It was an experience we will never forget!
