Full description

Escape the hustle and bustle of Parisian life and enter into the Garden of France. Stroll the walkways of the French monarchs, hear tales of royal love affairs and kidnappings, and behold the beauty of the Loire Valley's exquisite Chateaux.  The first stop of the day is Château de Chambord; the perfect example of French Renaissance architecture, this remarkable structure was built by King François I between 1519-1547 and is the largest château in the Loire Valley.

Who designed this masterpiece is still in dispute, and with contenders including Leonardo da Vinci, its sights are sure not to disappoint. Next up is the charming Château de Chenonceau, a true fairy tale castle set picturesquely on the Cher River, its history and character has been shaped by the women who've inhabited it. The site of the first-ever French fireworks display, Chenonceau is really one to fall in love with. The last stop will be at Château de Cheverny, a 17th-century beauty furnished in great taste and with marvelous gardens. Enjoy free time for lunch (not included) during the day either at Chenonceau or Chambord. You’ll be back in Paris in the evening.

Everything was exactly as desctibed and on time. The tour is long of course but its an easy way for the ones that do not want to rent a car and drive all the way to the valey. We did not had to wait and both the driver and the guide were very proffesional and analytic. Value for money. We did not regret we did not took the audioguides and stick to the 115 euro tickets.

The guide forgot to give me a map to use with an electronic pen and I didn't listen to the explanation of the first castle. In the next castle I already had maps and I asked another guide to help me turn on the electronic pen and he scolded me for not knowing how to use it. They were rude to me especially Marissa

We have chosen the solution of transport only + entrance tickets to the three castles (Cheverny, Chenoncheau and Chambord) to have more free moments during the day. The stops at the castles were about two hours at the castle, the right time to see the interiors, the gardens and to take beautiful photos. The guides followed those who had chosen the solution with a guided tour and kept the pace of the day (departure at seven, return to Paris on time at eight in the evening). Recommended, excellent trip out of town for those who have more days in Paris.
