The booking was super easy, and the confirmation came quickly. We were picked up on time and warmly welcomed by the tour guide. The bus was great. Luckily we were one of the last to be picked up, we didn't have a free choice of seats, but we saved a lot of time getting there and back. The route with the individual stations were all a highlight. I highly recommend it. The beach of Damnioni Beach is a dream, from there we went by boat (also a great experience) to the palm forest of Preveli. Of course the beach is crowded, but it's your own fault if you don't hike into the palm forest. Then the crowd gets lost again and it's so beautiful there in the gorge and the river. After the return trip by boat we went swimming at Damnioni Beach and didn't eat in the tavern. Finally we went to Rethymnon. A very nice city. We would have liked to stay here longer, but for the first impression it was OK.
