    Walk through the bustling Capo Street Market, offering a wide selection of local meats, seafood, produce & Sicilian bites. Then, taste some local specialties from Palermo. Tuck into some sfincione (dough topped with onion, bread crumbs, tomato, and oregano), panelle (fried chickpea flour), crocché (potato croquettes), arancine (rice croquettes stuffed with meat or butter), and cannolo (crunchy shell with sweet-cheese).

    Meet your guide at Piazza Olivella, in front of the entrance of the Salinas Archeological Museum, 100 meters from the Massimo Theater. For cruise passengers, meet your guide in front of the IBIS Hotel, 100 meters just outside the port (on request).

    • For cruise passengers, there is a pickup at 10:00 AM just outside the port. Please send a message to the tour guide to require the pickup. If your cruise ship arrives later, an alternative pickup time can be organized
    • A dress code is required to visit the cathedral. Men cannot wear shorts, and tank tops. Bermudas and T-shirts are allowed
    • Women cannot wear shorts, miniskirts, and tops. Bermuda shorts and T-shirts are allowed
    • At the entrance of the cathedral, you can buy a light jacket (1€) to cover your shoulders and legs

    What a great way to get some insight into the culture and history of Palermo. The street food is delicious and Fabrizio is engaging and knowledgeable and encourages questions.
