The tour was fantastic! It turned out to be a customized private tour of an outstanding value during which I had several firsts for me including tasting Figgie the India, visiting the convent confectionery, and visiting a mosque converted to a Christian site, as well as tasting some unique Sicilian treats from the confectionery. So this was a tourist sites as well as the food tour which I really appreciated. Salvator also provided many insightful recommendations of places to eat and visit in follow up. Our three hours went very quickly and Salvator did manage to tire me out by the end which is unusual for me! I highly recommend the store given by Salvator.

Incredible experience, our wonderful host Rosalia made us feel so welcome and took great care of us. We learnt how to make the best pasta alla Norma we tasted in Sicily, this class was definitely the highlight of our trip. Cannot recommend enough!

It was very interesting and entertaining. Guide also told a lot about the region and city. Very appealing and personable. According to the tour guide, the lunch tour is more recommended. As more markets and visited food stalls have opened here.

The guide was very helpful and amanzing. Lidya gave us all the tips and tricks and explaind everything to us. She showed us all the most important things. She was very nice and fun. She offered us her help if we need anything.

This was a very thorough tour and well worth it! Angelo was a great guide and educated us not just about food but culture and history of Palermo.
