Discover with us the most beautiful city of the ancient Greek era 500 BC. and stop at lunch time with the visit of the typical Campania Buffalo Dairy and the Mozzarella cheese tasting. We start our tour at the archaeological park and museum of Paestum. Here you can admire an important collection of finds, including vases and weapons, grave goods and frescoed tombstones. The slab from the Tomb of the Diver is beautiful, a unique example of Greek painting from the classical age and from Magna Graecia. We move on to the splendid archaeological area of the Temples of Paestum. Surrounded by an almost totally preserved wall and interspersed with 28 towers with a square and circular plan, arrived in excellent condition, the Temples of Paestum are considered unique examples of Magna Graecia architecture. The three Doric temples built in the two urban sanctuaries of Paestum are dedicated respectively to Hera and Athena. At the end of the visit we will reach the farm for a visit to the dairy and a tasting of mozzarella. The Tour of the Temples of Paestum is a full-day itinerary in the Archaeological Park of Paestum dating back to the ancient Greek era 500 BC. At lunch time we move to the typical Campania Buffalo Dairy to visit and have a mozzarella tasting. Return to the station at the established time and return journey.
