Mario was genuinely one of the best people we have met on our travels! His kindness and easy demeanor coupled with his master sommelier certification made him the perfect person to spend a day with, tasting Prosecco and enjoying the countryside. He made us feel welcome and provided extensive knowledge of the wine, the wine making process and the region. Highly recommend spending a day with Mario or his wife if you want to escape Venice for the Italian countryside. He also looked after all the small details like a coffee and bathroom stop as well as a wonderful lunch at a small eatery in the Prosecco hills. Thank you Mario!

Mario brought us to two fantastic places for great food and wine pairings (gluten free as we requested). We learned about the wine and the city and very much enjoyed his company. We look forward to doing more tours with him in the future; he knows so much about wine we would love to find another experience to share!!

Catia is a delightful host, who loves to share her impressive knowledge of Italian cooking. We made pasta with her grandmother’s machine! The food was excellent. She even shared her special recipe for tiramisu!
