Uluwatu: GWK Cultural Park, Beaches & Uluwatu Temple Tour

1. Uluwatu: GWK Cultural Park, Beaches & Uluwatu Temple Tour

Discover some of the best of Bali including beautiful beaches and age-old temples. With a visit to a cultural park and a vibrant dance show thrown in for good measure, see the "real Bali" as you travel with an experienced local guide. Make your way to Tanjung Benoa Beach nestled in the southeast of Bali. This strip of seaside resorts features a reef-protected beach with gentle waves, perfect for watersports like parasailing or wakeboarding. Next, travel to Nusa Dua, home to one of the island’s best resorts. While here, see a rare, natural phenomenon known as the "Water Blow". Watch as white-tipped waves crash against limestone cliffs, creating spectacular sprays that drench those who stand too close. Explore the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, where you learn more about Balinese culture and religion. Flanked by a giant statue of the Hindu god, Vishnu, this is the ideal place to see some local dance and music, with various fun activities available.  Relax on Padang Padang Surf Beach, with its white sand, clear blue sky and great surf all year round. Finish the day with a visit to Uluwatu Temple. Watch the sun set on the horizon from an 11th-century rock temple. Learn about the myths and legends of this mystical place from your guide. Then, enjoy a vibrant celebration of local culture with a Kecak Balinese traditional dance. Talented performers will tell myths of Bali through song and dance as you end the day.

I had a wonderful time on my tour to Uluwatu. I really enjoyed the beaches we visited and the wonderful nature alongside the shore of Uluwatu and Nusa Dua. Because of the virus, I was the only person on the trip, but my guide Yogi was wonderful, so I had a great last day in Bali. He explained a lot about the culture and religion of Bali, he was very professional and always gave me as much time as I needed on my own to explore the sights and beaches, so I had a relaxing, yet educational day. I can highly recommend this tour anyone enjoying a mixture of cultural sights, nature and beaches.

I really enjoyed this tour. One of the highlights was Nusa Dua Beach, which was not overcrowded and was heavenly beautiful!!! Personally, I don't find the GWK monument as beautiful as, for example, the statue of Christ in Rio de Janeiro, but that's a matter of taste. The GWK site is super interesting and beautifully designed. Overall the day was great and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone vacationing in Bali.

We had amazing time. Tour is must see when in Bali. You can see beautiful beaches, culture, temple and statue is unique. What made our trip more enjoyable and memorable was our driver Santika, highly recommend him as driver and this beautiful tour.

Had a super fun day tour with a visit to different temples and beaches. A must for those who want to get on board and want to get close to the nice temples and beaches of uluwatu.

It's been a long beautiful day. Our guide Komang was great. However, I was hoping to see a little more beaches
