Covid-19 Update

Due to health and safety regulations, this itinerary may change. See Know before you go for the latest updates.

This Oxford University and city walking tour begins in central Oxford and is designed to show you the world behind the doors. The small group size enables the student guide to give a personalized account of university life. Visit one of the university’s oldest colleges, as well as the Bodleian Library. Learn about the history of the university colleges, including All Souls College, Trinity College, Oriel College, Hertford College and Merton College and also the Radcliffe Camera, the University Church of St. Mary and more. You’ll get an equally in-depth history about the town. Hear about ceremonies at Oxford, famous graduates, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and also how the most powerful Archbishop of Canterbury was burned at the stake in Oxford.

The best decision to have a guide (not just a guide but an Alumni guide). Jack was our guide and he was really good. Quite witty and funny. He just knew how to keep all of us tuned in with his own experience and things that only an alumnus would know. That made such a big difference. A huge Thank you!! I would 100% recommend this. It definitely opened our eyes and made us appreciate the heritage and culture behind Oxford.

Very nice tour! We definitely recommend! Small group, very professional, approachable, knowledgeable and funny guide. We learned a lot about the city, the university and academic traditions. Interesting from all points of view! We stoped in the most iconic city sites, inclusive some that appear/ inspired movies, like Narnia and Harry Potter.

Our Guide, Trevor, gave us a fantastic tour. He made the whole tour fun, informative and very interesting due to his friendly manner and great sense of humour. Having very recently been a student at the University he made the whole place come alive. Despite the inevitable current restrictions re the colleges all being closed to visitors, we didn’t feel we had missed out in any way.
