And the third stop of this excursion is in Avilés. Known as the ’village of the forward' awaits you to discover a land of discoverers, since the city is known precisely as the ’village of the forward' because of a space dedicated to one of its most illustrious characters, a ruler of the Indies who reconquered Florida in the 16th century. Tradition, history, culture and modernity blend into a perfect cocktail provides all its visitors with a unique experience. Over the years, Avilés has also been transformed into a modern and avant-garde city, where, above all, the Niemeyer Centre stands out.
