Kevin was a fantastic guide! We were a large group of 10 tourists from all over the globe (UK, Mexico, France, Canada, U.S), which initially I was worried would take away from the ability to learn and ask Kevin questions about Osaka, but the large group turned out to be the best part, as Kevin’s easy going manner had us all meeting each other while we eat and drank our way through a number of out of the way street food vendors that were great characters themselves. I had my 19 yr old son with me on this tour and after a week in Kyoto/Osaka area, both of us felt this food tour was the #1 highlight! Can’t understate the value of this tour for someone visiting Japan for the first time. Kampai!!

It was a very delightful experience for my family. Shinsekai is one of Osaka's most interesting neighborhoods. It was the first time for the whole family to be in the area. This area has remained largely untouched over the years. the area flourished, and pulsed with amusement attractions and restaurants that drew enormous crowds. Many old eating and drinking establishments can still be found. This dining and shopping street is still contains Japanese-style pubs and cafeteria-like restaurants with highly unique menus. And Andy made us all experience the old town and delicious food of Osaka. Andy is very friendly and accommodating. He made sure that all of us were having a good time. He even extend his hospitality by bringing us to the train station and making sure that we are on the right direction going back to our hotel. My family and I had a wonderful time not only with the food and the experience but with Andy as well. Thank you Andy for such a memorable experience.

Andy was such a good tour guide! He showed us the spots where no tourist usually goes to. On top, he gave us interesting side facts about Osaka and Japan. The food was delicious and varied a lot. Besides that, the group dymanic was great. I definitely recommend the tour and especially Andy! The only thing I could complain about is that we did not get the gift chopsticks that are mentioned in the Get your Guide description. Nonetheless, I give 10/10.
