This tour greatly exceeded our expectations because not only was it a fantastic food tour, but we also got to learn a ton about the Dotontori area of Osaka as we explored around in a small group. Spencer took us to wonderful restaurants to consume Osaka’s famous street food, and he took care of all the ordering, allowing us to sit back, relax and be catered to. I got the sense that Spencer didn’t learn everything he knew about Osaka because he had to for his job, but knew everything because he’s proud to call Osaka home and just genuinely loves the people, food and Osaka culture and way of life. I think the best part of the tour was following Spencer to some hidden gems that we would have never found on our own. A former hotel, with the second floor converted into dozens of bars so was neat! Highly recommended tour with an amazing guide.

There was so much more food than we expected to recieve and a great variety of dishes was provided too (great value for money). Our tour guide Chie was absolutely amazing, she showed us many Ironic landmarks inbetween the food stops. The amount knowledge she had on the area was incredible and informative but most importantly fun. She was extremely helpful, accommodating and was able to answer all our questions (she even helped us understand more of the language and customs!). Our conversations flowed easily throughout the night as Chie was very friendly, fun and made us feel as if we were dining with a good friend. The whole experience was fantastic, I highly recommend this tour.
