1. Orlando: SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium
Begin your journey at Mia the seahorse, Magnus the shark, and Tyler the sea turtle. Learn about breeding, rescuing, and protecting the ocean's creatures. Next, see a wall filled with jellyfish and select a color to glow the habitat. Then visit Ship Wreck for a first big look into the Atlantic Ocean. See the seasonal feature of the attraction, axolotls, which is the world's most studied salamander. It can regenerate its own limbs, jaws, tails, spinal cord, skin, and organs perfectly. Find various colorful fish, such as pufferfish and bamboo sharks, that can be found in the Pacific Ocean. Next, a 180-degree tunnel will transition you from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean. Then you'll enter a large 360-degree tunnel, the only one of its kind in Orlando. Here you can witness a sea turtle, nurse and blacktip sharks, stingrays, eels, and hundreds of other species. At the third habitat, the Indian Ocean, visit Ted the loggerhead sea turtle, along with more specialty sharks and sea creatures. At Stingray Cove, watch stingrays swim within their habitat amongst horseshoe crabs and eels. Since the Everglades start in Orlando's backyard, you will find creatures that are native to the Florida Everglades. Before ending your journey, visit the touch pool area, bringing you close to sea stars.
